We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator based at our Scottsdale site Tasmania. The purpose of this role is to operate the mobile and fixed plant at the Scottsdale PDC maintaining the site to a high level for the safe, cost effective and reliable operation.
Reporting to the Site Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring customer service standards are met –truck turnaround time, correct products loaded, paperwork completed, input of data into SAP
- Competent and safe operation of fixed and mobile plant, daily checks, routines and audits are carried out.
- Maintaining a safe and clean workplace that does not affect local community or site efficiency.
- Engaging in the Business excellence principles; attend daily meetings assist with problem solving, input data.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and be willing to champion in-house processes including: Permits to Work, JSAs, Work Instructions & Take 5 processes
- Be willing and capable of working with exposure to manual handling tasks
- Have a unrestricted drivers licence
- Hold a current Fork-lift licence
- Competent in the operation of a front end loader
- Computer literate
