Form of workPlant Operator - Construction Permanent Full Time Opportunity 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight (Rostered Day Off) (Grade C) Salary ranging from $61,236.76 - $71,167.20 plus 11% Superannuation. (Depending on skillset and experience) The Opportunity The purpose of this position is to participate in construction of Council’s roads and infrastructure through plant operation. This position works across multidisciplined areas and project teams where operationally required and involves working under direct supervision, assisting in a variety of routine manual labouring and skilled tasks. Essential Criteria Demonstrated experience in construction and/or maintenance (roads and drainage) operating of medium to large plant and machinery relevant to the field equipment including trucks, rollers, excavators and graders, and manual labouring. Proven ability to follow instructions within a team environment, and to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
