Summary
Our contract commitment for the next 10 years is to support the City Of Ballarat in the operation of the Ballarat Regional Landfill. The role requires a competent all rounder to support auxiliary functions and general labouring on site, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage assets, the environment & works related to litter management, dust management, haul roads, storm water swales etc.

Your new role
Undertake ancillary tasks across the landfill facility, routine maintenance of the landfill infrastructure
Traffic management, Dust control, Odour control, Litter management and onsite maintenance
Provide assistance to team members, contactors and landfill customers.
Ability to work in all weather conditions to maintain the landfill operating conditions as required.
Ability and flexibility to work across a 7 day operation
Skills and experience
HR license required
Ability and willingness to up skill.
Ability to think ahead, outside the box & problem solve.
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to work autonomously and part of a team.
Experience with small pumps, traffic management, heavy equipment & handy man type duties favourable.
Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
