Ultimate Drainage Australia is located in Forrestdale and is a preferred supplier to the Water Corp and ATCO Gas. Undergoing various works in the Perth metro area, the types of works we carry out include: maintenance to valves and pipelines; maintenance and installation of water supply; emergency repairs; and minor project work and constructions. We are seeking drainage operators. If you can fulfill some of the following criteria, and have a strong interest in working locally in Perth with a friendly and flexible team, please submit your current resume including suitable references, licences and qualifications. Similar experience from a previous role or other relevant skills considered.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience in a similar position on a Water corporation or metro project with knowledge of working in drainage, storm water, water mains, trenching and sewerage.
- Valid Australian Drivers license, HR preferred.
- Experienced machine operator ideal, but not essential (Excavator).
- Reliable transport with ability to get to Forrestdale daily.
- Ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical including lab DAS.
- Display a strong sense of WHS.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Maintenance and installation of water supply to sewers, storm water, water main.
- Maintenance to valves and pipelines.
- Water Corp experience preferred.
- Drainage operators will be required to have experience operating excavators around services and knowledge of the general water main and sewer maintenance.
- Trench box installation knowledge is ideal but not essential.
- Good teamwork capabilities with capacity to work alone unsupervised.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Be willing to perform labour duties as required (Shovelling).
