About the Construction and Maintenance North Branch:
The Construction & Maintenance North (CMN) Branch plays a crucial role in driving capital and operational works projects and across a predominantly rural road and stormwater infrastructure network.
The CMN team believes in fostering a positive and enjoyable work environment. While we encourage camaraderie and a friendly atmosphere, we also value professionalism and respect.

Benefits of working at Council:
- Base fortnightly rate of $2,259.24 plus 17.5% annual leave loading and superannuation up to 12.65%.
- In addition to the base wage rate, variable allowances are available (for example - overtime and wet weather).
- 2 Permanent Full-time positions based at Crows Nest or Goombungee Depot.
- The hours of work are from 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
- These positions participate in Rostered Days Off.

How to be successful in this position:
Mandatory qualifications, training and/or experience, specific to the role:
- Current unrestricted ‘MR’ Driver’s Licence, or ability to obtain within 12 months of appointment.
- Current ‘C” Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
- WHS Certificate of Competency or VOC for “LR” - Road Roller (>2L engine capacity) or RII Competency or BCCP03013B (or equivalent).
- WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent.
- Substantial experience in operating related plant, including operating a Roller.
