North West Recycling Centre (NRC) provides a depot for commercial gardeners, landscapers, local councils, horticulturalists, agriculturalists and those in civil works to manage their green waste in a responsible & sustainable manner. We provide a ‘360-degree’ specialist recycling solution for green waste products.
Operating from a yard in Schofields in the Greater Sydney region, NSW, we recover green waste material for recycling into high quality organic products.

Qualifications & experience
- Excavator, wheel loader and skid steer experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to take direction for the safe operation of plant, machinery, vehicles and equipment.
- Positive approach to work, including commitment to continuous improvement.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Operate machinery, vehicles and equipment at North West Recycling Centre green waste facility.
- Support NRC's commitment to health and safety for NRC staff, visitors, clients and the public.
- Conduct all vehicle, machine and plant pre-start inspections and carry out basic maintenance as per manufacturer's requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of machines, vehicles and equipment.
- Participate in training and development activities as required, supporting NRC's commitment to continuous improvement.
- Perform tasks in a safe manner using good manual handling techniques.
- Perform minor site/yard maintenance and assist other staff as needed.
- Support a positive team culture and good customer service.
