We are looking for a talented, self-motivated Platform Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will help build, evolve and scale our cloud infrastructure to drive developer productivity and speed of innovation, and to provide maximum agility and responsiveness to our customers. We operate a hybrid private/public any-cloud infrastructure, and we strive to make use of the most modern cloud orchestration tools and technologies available. Our next generation platform is a LowCode/NoCode ecosystem consisting of applications (SaaS) built on Golang, NodeJS, React, Rust and more. About the role
This is a Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) position. Available work locations include Sydney, Brisbane, Townsville and we offer remote working opportunities.

- Lay the foundations and future direction of a new and exciting product
- Work with all major cloud providers to deliver a truly global offering
- Collaborate to build automation workflows and deployment strategies
- Continuous delivery of new features and platform improvements
- Help design a resilient and scalable service mesh architecture
- Be involved in the full product design lifecycle.
- Assist in defining DevOps and quality guidelines and standards.
- Contribute to and review deployment plans; schedules the installation of new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment.
- Work with Release Management to ensure modules are production ready.
- Create release notes, deployment plans, etc.
- Verify the functionality of components and services and ensures deployment meets expectations.
- Plan ongoing routine application maintenance tasks.
- Establish requirements, methods, and procedures for routine maintenance.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience holding Platform Engineer role(s) with a passionate Love of automation in large application delivery environments - infrastructure build, testing, development processes.
- Demonstrable knowledge of AWS, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, and Hashicorp Stack (Terraform a must), Docker, Kubernetes
- Expertise building resilient, secure, and highly available infrastructure in a Private/Public AnyCloud architecture combining the use of Nutanix Hyperconverged infrastructure with AWS, Azure and GCP clustering.
- A pragmatic mindset and an aptitude for solving the right problem
- Experience in supporting a production service in a DevOps friendly and continuous improvement environment.
- Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
- Strong scripting (e.g. PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby, C#, Java) and comfortable with adapting to our next generation languages Golang, NodeJS, React, Rust, etc.
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent.
- Linux (Ubuntu/Centos) system administration.
- Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Pandora, Zabbix, OpManager).
- Ability to analyse and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
- Strong experience with SQL, particularly PostgreSQL and/or MariaDB/MySQL including proactive Query and Index optimisation as a routine.
