Position Description
As a PLM /TeamCenterArchitect, you will be the subject expert who works to understand current processes and uses influence to update the processes architecting and configuring TeamCenter as a solution. This will transition the organization from SmarTeam to Teamcenter, enabling us to streamline our engineering workflows, improve our data quality, and enhance our collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze the current engineering processes and data in SmarTeam and other platforms and map them to the best practices in Teamcenter.
- Design and implement the PLM architecture and configuration for Teamcenter.
- Provide guidance and support to the project team and the engineering users on the PLM functionalities and best practices.
- Collaborate with the engineers, consultants and the IT team to ensure the successful deployment and integration of Teamcenter.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the PLM system.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in PLM architecture and configuration, preferably with Teamcenter
- Strong knowledge of engineering processes and data management
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in tire industry is a plus.
