The Plumber and Drainer position works as part of a multi-skilled team to complete program objectives for pipeline construction projects as well as plumbing and labouring related to municipal works.
- This is a permanent full-time position based at the Charlton Depot.
- The base salary for this position is $1,225.9133 gross per week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- In addition to the base wage rate, variable allowances are available.
- This position participates in a nine (9) day fortnight working arrangement.

How to be successful in this position – Success Criteria
Hold the mandatory licences/qualifications:
- A current Queensland Plumber Licence
- A current Queensland Drainers Licence (if not held, must be obtained within 12 months of commencement).
- Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence.
- WH&S Competency Card for CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry or 30215QLD – Course in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry), or a willingness to obtain this card before commencement.
- A current Certificate in Confined Space (if not held, must be obtained within three months of commencement). Certificate requires revalidation.
- Certificate of Competency in Traffic Management Implementation (if not held, must be obtained within three months of commencement).
- Certificate of competency for Quick Cut Saw (if not held, must be obtained within three months of commencement).
