CrewSELECT require a Plumbing Estimator based in the Perth Eastern Suburbs.
Job Overview:
- Under the mentoring of the Senior Estimator, you will use your trade background to prepare tenders for medium to large scale construction, defence and renovation projects.
- Complete tender documents and enter tenders into Quote Sheet
- Using Cavsoft to provide estimates for commercial projects
- Conduct site inspections to assess project conditions, risks & activities
- Sourcing suppliers and sub-contractors
- Provide feedback on project scope, complexity and risks
- Obtain quotes from suppliers/sub-contractors and negotiating prices
- Follow up with clients post tender submissions to determine outcome
- Working with the Senior Estimator to consistently source tenders
- Prepare project documentation for successful tenders
- Co-ordinate and conduct handover meetings with PM's
- Preparing costing changes, variations and additions to contracts
- Assisting the Senior Estimator with As Cons/design drawings
- $90,000 - $120,000 salary package and incentives (depending on experience)

- WA Plumbing Licence
- Previous commercial plumbing experience
- Some exposure to commercial estimating advantageous but not essential
- Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
- National Police Clearance
- Drivers Licence & White Card
- Strong knowledge of the industry and current WA practices and legislation
- Understanding of construction timelines and methods
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
- Sound time management, decision making and problem solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work cooperatively to achieve outcomes.
- Trade Cert (desirable)
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Backflow, prevention, gas fitting certifications (desired)
- Excavator (desired)
