Job Summary: As a Roofing Estimator at Bones Roofing, you will play a crucial role in our team by providing accurate and competitive estimates that reflect our standards of quality and service. This position demands a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed site evaluations to assess potential projects and determine necessary work.
- Prepare comprehensive estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, ensuring competitive pricing and high accuracy.
- Collaborate with our project management teams to facilitate smooth project planning and execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate cost-effective prices.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements to enhance service quality.
- Ensure clear communication with clients, offering thorough explanations of estimates and addressing any concerns to help guide decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a Roofing Estimator or similar role, preferably in the Queensland market.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using modern estimating software.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction or related fields are advantageous.
