About the role
This role requires drivers that are comfortable with going out on the road unaccompanied handling high volume fragile freight. Driving a company vehicle across Brisbane QLD including the CBD. The role will be a part time position, 2 days a week schedule, ideal hours is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There may be occasional flexibility required to work in the Warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to make timely deliveries of products to customers
- Follow all WH&S guidelines and operating procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
- Work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ensure all products are delivered in good condition
- Maintain an exceptional driving record
- Manual handling kegs & cartons
- Assist in the Warehouse as required
- Keep the vehicle clean and tidy at all times
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Australian MR/HR Drivers Licence with at least 6 points
- Minimum 1-year experience in route driving or similar
- Police check will be required upon successful interview
- Positive attitude with a reliable and punctual work ethic
- Physically fit to handle high volume and heavy loads
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
