An exciting opportunity currently exists to join the Podiatry and Diabetes Foot Service at Western Health. This is a full-time Grade 1 maternity leave position from April 2024.
The Podiatry Department provides service across Western Health including Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown Hospitals. Podiatry deliver care to admitted and non-admitted services across the continuum of care with a focus on acute high-risk foot complications. The Diabetes Foot Service is an accredited High-Risk Foot service which provides coordinated, multidisciplinary high risk foot care at Footscray Hospital.
To be successful in this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Computer literacy
- A current Victorian driver's licence
- Recognised degree or equivalent in Podiatry
- Professional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills
- Clinical & theoretical knowledge in the assessment and management of patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of and participation in continuous quality improvement processes
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- A current Working with Children’s check
