Welcome to The Foot Studio Podiatry! 

Our new state-of-the-art sports Podiatry facility in Claremont opened in November 2023. This relocation of our established Claremont location makes room for another enthusiastic passionate health professional to join our team.  

WHAT WE NEED

Due to our continued growth, we are on the lookout for the next group of Podiatrists to join our team.

There will be 3 intakes for 2024. 

April, July, and November.

Our podiatrists are people who dare to do things better, who take the initiative to learn and know how to genuinely care for people. We are looking for people with a go-getter attitude, a drive to hit the ground running and someone who wants to be a part of a collaborative and supportive team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Podiatrist or a passionate graduate with a strong desire to succeed in the industry. We're looking for people who are exceptionally driven, motivated, proactive and personable.

We are ideally looking for someone with 2-3+ years experience who is not only keen to continue learning themselves, but are interested in mentoring Podiatrists in a team environment. With a keen interest in sports podiatry, biomechanics and chronic pain.

WHAT YOU NEED

• An Australian Podiatry degree
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• AHPRA registration
• Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Satisfactory criminal record and Working With Children check
• A passion for helping a diverse range of clients
• An in-depth understanding of MSK & Dermatological conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High emotional intelligence and self-awareness
• Initiative and resourcefulness
• An openness to being part of a close-knit team, and help to add to the positive work culture

JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute and execute new ideas to the clinic
• Contribute to weekly case discussion meetings on client treatment plans
• Grow and manage a mixed MSK caseload of private patients
• Have a knowledge and an interest in providing a high quality service to clients and referrers
• Work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Receive and give regular feedback
• Communicate and report effectively to GPs, referrers and other clinical staff
• Manage a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries, rehab, post surgical rehab, chronic pain.
• Treating Paediatric patients
• Competently executing nail surgeries such as partial nail avulsions or have the willingness to be taught how to do these confidently
• Treating High risk wound patients in a private setting and be happy to prescribe, design and fit orthoses and footwear to prevent future re-ulceration or again be willing to learn these skills
• General Podiatry treatment including trimming nails, corns and calluses.
