Our client is seeking to engage a Policy Advisor Public Health. Location: Canberra, ACT Contract Length: Permanent, Full time Eligibility/Security Requirement: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. The role: Broadly, the Policy Adviser will provide policy advice and undertake a range of tasks in respect of the issues managed by the team on population and community health issues. This includes but not limited to: impacts of climate change on the health of Australians, sustainable healthcare practices, preventative health, inclusive of anti-microbial resistance, preventive health, children and women’s health, nutrition and obesity food regulations, alcohol & other drugs, tobacco and e-cigarettes, medicinal cannabis and, LGBTQIA health.
