As a policy Officer, you'll be at the heart of a dynamic and welcoming team, collaborating with Stakeholders across Government, industry and Not-for-Profit sectors. Your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional advice and program management on the Government's domestic and family and sexual violence reform program. You'll work closely with a diverse and highly skilled team and experienced leaders in influencing the best policy implementation practices. Your expertise will span a broad spectrum of technical skills elevating your policy knowledge and skills to new heights.

The Queensland Government has established an Independent Implementation Supervisor for responsible for overseeing the implementation of the recommendations from:
- Hear her voice - Report One - Addressing coercive control and domestic and family violence in Queensland;
- Hear her voice - Report Two - Womens and girls' experiences across the criminal justice system; and
- A CALL FOR CHANGE: Commission of inquiry into Queensland Police Service responses to domestic and family violence
The Office of the Independent Implementation Supervisor is a stand-alone business unit responsible for providing secretariat functions to the Independent Implementation Supervisor.
The Policy Officer works as part of a small team to provide research, advice, analysis and reporting on complex justice, social policy and criminal justice system issues and delivers advice and support to the Director, Office of the Independent Implementation Supervisor.
