We are looking for an experienced Groundskeeper to take care of all aspects of grounds & Pool Maintenance at the Imperial Hotel & Imperial Boutique Accommodation
Your responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Overseeing a small team, allocating tasks & quality control
- Maintenance of lawns adhering to seasonal changes
- Developing a grounds maintenance schedule during peak and off-peak times to ensure the lawns and gardens are kept in top condition
- Treating weeds, pests and diseases, irrigation control and fertilizing lawn
- Knowledge of plants essential
- General cleanliness of common areas, gardens, lawns and paths
- Maintain water testing and documentation, ability to troubleshoot
- Assist with general hotel maintenance as needed.
- Follow appropriate policies and procedures
The Candidate
Candidates with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply:
- A Strong understanding of pool plant equipment, operations and procedures
- Has previous pool operations experience in similar environment
- Hands on, hardworking approach with a high attention to detail
- Personable with a can do attitude
- Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to adapt to any situation
- Have good communication skills
- Have strong people management and communication skills
- Relish the training and development of staff
- Thrive on creating a strong work culture.
- Available to work early morning starts weekdays, weekends and public holidays
