The successful candidate will lead the Project Delivery team within the Technology and Innovation (T&I) business unit so that the portfolio of projects are appropriately prioritised, resourced and delivered within the agreed timeframes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Grow and mature the Portfolio Delivery team's systems, methodologies, governance, budget and tools
- Lead, mentor and develop the project delivery team to ensure a collaborative, can-do mindset that contributes to a positive workplace culture
- Ensure the team can efficiently identify each project's resources, dependencies, timeframes, constraints and priorities
- Engage internal resources, technical owners and project managers to ensure alignment regarding delivery of the existing technology portfolio
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on each proposed project's scope, strategic alignment, cost, quality, required resources, dependencies, timeframes and constraints
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and sponsors, ensuring key stakeholders are identified and engaged early in the project life cycle
Key requirements include:
- An industry recognised certification in Project or Portfolio Management
- Significant portfolio or technology project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop a project portfolio management capability and drive adoption of project delivery across an enterprise
- Previous experience in project delivery related change across an enterprise, including securing the support and cooperation of leaders impacted by the change
- Excellent people skills, including comfort in meeting and presenting to a range of stakeholders
