This position is responsible for the overall coordination of a House comprising Years 7 to 12 students. They will be a member of the School’s Middle Leadership Team and be expected to provide a strong role model for other teachers.
The successful Applicant will be required to undertake a teaching role in their preferred Learning Area. For full details, please refer to the Role Description available on our website.
Selection Criteria:
Special skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the following attributes:
* be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
* be able to teach in one of the Learning Areas: HASS, Mathematics, Science or H&PE
* be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills
* possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to integrate digital technology into their teaching practices
* be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team
* understand the importance of feedback to parents and students
* show initiative and participate fully in school activities
* be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator
* demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills.
The successful applicant must have a current TRBWA registration, Working With Children Check and provide a valid CrimTrac.
