Your team

Group Analytics provides centralised expertise in deriving analytical insight into our business and providing advice to stakeholders who can act on these insights. Within the Group Analytics function, this role is part of the Portfolio & Distribution Analytics team that is responsible for the provision of management information, portfolio reporting and insights to support analytics and insights across Hollard.

Your duties and responsibilities:

You will be a member of the Portfolio & Distribution Analytics Team within the Group Analytics functional area. You will contribute to the success of the function through the following key responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement reporting to support financial, portfolio, product and distribution business areas.
• Support with budgeting and forecasting and tracking the benefits of portfolio initiatives and projects.
• Support stakeholders through the provision of timely and accurate analysis and insights. 
• Play a role in scoping out the requirements, solution and timelines for reporting and analytical initiatives with business stakeholders.

Your knowledge, skills, and attributes

• Must have minimum 2 years of experience in an analytical/reporting role, with experience in the general insurance industry highly regarded.
• Proficiency in SAS and/or SQL is required. 
• Experience in Python, and any visualization tool, such as PowerBI or Tableau is required.
• Must have ability to work positively with a wide range of stakeholders, with excellent communication skills. 
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work towards deadlines is essential.
