YOUR ROLE
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Portfolio Management Specialist (NSW & ACT) to join the Customer & Growth team. Supporting the largest division, you will work collaboratively with our portfolio team, pricing (technical and consumer), marketing, product, underwriting, business performance, finance, and claims teams to ensure profitable growth and a seamless customer delivery.
Your commercial decisions, financial insight and stakeholder management experience will be pivotal within the team to influence best outcomes for the NRMA NSW/ACT Home portfolios (home, landlord and strata).
The role will also work collaboratively with Go-To Market and Growth Development areas to help determine customer segment profitability and the economic viability of customer value propositions.
This permanent opportunity is open to candidates in Australia.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an inquisitive individual who is great with numbers and has strong numerical skills to analyse tracking of plans and investigate areas that require change or improvements.
You’ll also demonstrate:
• Ability to influence major stakeholders in the value chain to drive change.
• Previous General Insurance knowledge or experience within Financial Services.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive improvements with recognition of stakeholder needs and external regulators.
• Knowledge of Product methodologies, tools, and techniques for personal lines products;
• Knowledge of tools and techniques of analysing potential risk exposures.
• Knowledge of and the ability to assess customer needs and provide solutions for them.
• Strong analytical and data skills including Excel and Tableau.
