We currently have an opportunity to join the Smith's Snackfood Company as a Potato Supply Operator to join our day shift team.
Overview
- Location: Regency Park
- Shift: Day (Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 2:30pm, Friday 6:00am to 12noon)
- Permanent Part Time
- Selection Process: Phone Conversation - Interview - Online Testing - Background and Pre Employment Medical Checks - Decision
Responsibilities
About the role
- Advanced documentation, data analysis, stocktaking, inventory control, and stock adjustment
- Liaise with growers / delivery drivers, and coordinate removal of rejected loads from site
- Manage sanitation schedule of all relevant equipment and areas
- Forklift operation
- Conduct and participate in audits and inspections
Qualifications
About you
- Forklift licence and experience (high reach and counter-balance)
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing or food preparation environment
- SAP experience
- A high mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
- Maintain and endorse safe working techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with reading, comprehension, and numerical skills
