To assist our client in keeping this strong and growing industry staffed, Chandler Macleod are seeking expressions of interest for Poultry Farm Workers. No prior experience is needed so this is a great opportunity to gain experience in one of the region's largest food production operations.
- Casual hourly rate ranging from $29 - $32 p/hr + penalties and allowances
- Rotating rosters - averaging 38 hours per week
- Travel required at times between sites around the Tamworth/Gunnedah/Manilla areas
- Assisting with general farm hand duties from placing chicks, through to egg picking/packing, clean outs and bird moves.
- Assisting with the daily care and well-being of the birds including vaccinations
- Working in a dusty environment
- Predominately day shifts
- Overtime available dependent on business needs
- Have no physical restrictions as there is a requirement to undertake manual handling and lifting tasks
- Have a reliable car and driver's licence
- Must have full working rights within Australia
- Ability to work 5 days per week
- Have no birds, pigs or poultry at your place of residence
- Proven reliability and attendance record
- Ability to communicate with fluent English
- Have the ability to source your own accomodation within the Tamworth area
- Have the ability to attend an in-person interview with the Client
