Powdercoater - Factory All Rounder

Downs Sheet Metal, based in Dalby, require a motivated Powder Coater– Factory All Rounder person to join their team.  A strong work ethic is required and the willingness to help out, (within other aspects of production) when required.  You need to use your initiative and be an effective member of the team.  You will be responsible for powder coating of toolboxes and machinery parts and other general factory duties.

To be considered for this role you must possess the following:

• Previous experience in powder coating within a factory environment advantageous but not necessary - Willingness to learn absolutely necessary.
• Experience in sheet metal assembly advantageous but not necessary
• Have a positive CAN DO attitude - absolutely necessary.
• A strong focus towards safety.
• Must be able to use hand power tools.
• Be flexible and willing to work throughout the factory.
• Medically & physically fit to perform the required role.
• Have high attention to detail, precision and accuracy and sound problem solving skills.
• Forklift ticket advantageous OR a willingness to get one.

Aside from having a strong work ethic, plenty of initiative and a great attitude, we require commitment!

The successful applicant will be required to commence in the role ASAP on a full time basis.
