Our Sydney CBD based Financial Services client is looking for a Power BI Developer.
We are looking for someone with the following capabilities:
Deliverables include:
- Documented standards for datasets (semantic models), reports and apps.
- A style guide and templates for a range of different report types and dashboards
- Documented details on key reports (this means any reports that will be hosted as embedded reports on the Client portal and any reports that get published to Client SharePoint directories)
Experience & Skills include the following noting the primary focus should be the ability to help create datasets, reports and apps.
- Minimum 5+ years in PowerBI development in mid-large-scale organisations
- Experience in Financial Services Sector will be highly regarded.
- PowerBI Paginated reporting Development - (With No stored procedures and Semantic models only)
- PowerBI Dashboards Development
- PowerBI Deployment Pipeline (Configuration and Training to internal staff)
- PowerBI Workspace configuration (Restricted workspace for external reporting, open workspace for user experimental purposes)
- Semantic Model (Datasets) configuration (Restricted(read only) and unrestricted) - Business user accessibility (Excel etc)
- Dataflows (configuration and training to internal staff)
- Advanced DAX Formulas and M Language experience
- PowerBI Dashboard/Pagingated security configuration for external (outside organisation accessibility)
- PowerBI Premium Features - PowerBI Datamart, Hybrid Tables, Insights
- Azure SQL Database connectivity for automated processes/queries to Semantic models for Data Quality Checking purposes.
- Data Quality setup/governance on Semantic models.
