Phillip Riley has partnered with a successful and innovative battery storage business in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs. A position has arisen for a Power Electronics Engineer to join them as they look to expand their engineering team which will in-turn drive new product development.
The business is well established, with their products used by retailers and consumers across Australia, with big plans to move into further emerging markets. One of those is Electric Vehicle charging, and the Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for full product development, conceptualization, design for mid to high-level manufacturing and release to the customer.
This is a fantastic role for a mid-level to senior Power Electronics Engineer to make a real difference to a technology focused business, and you will be given full reigns to allow your ideas and suggestions to come to life. A desire to lead a team now or in the future is also looked on favorably.
Job Title:Power Electronics Engineer
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 + Super
Location: Northern Suburbs, Sydney
Key Skills
- Likely to have 5+ years of experience out in industry
- Power Electronics Experience (High Power 1-100KW, Motors, SMPS)
- Simulation experience using either PSIM, LTSpice or Matlab.
- PCB design experience for mid-volume manufacturing (Altium)
- Degree in a relevant subject i.e. Electronics / Electrical Engineering
Desirable Skills
- Experienced with Battery Storage or Solar PV
- FPGA/VHDL (Xilinx)
- ISO 9001 experience
- Prior people management / team leadership
