About the role
Mater’s Data and Digital Solutions team is searching a Dynamics 365 CRM & Power Apps Technical Coach to drive the adaption and automation of development practices to align with our Digital Plan.
This is a permanent and full-time position and will work closely with all levels of the business to set the direction of CRM D365 solution development.
Reporting to the Manager – D365 & Power Platforms you will be based in our corporate office in Newstead with flexible working arrangements.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
What you’ll be doing
Typical duties include:
- Leading the design, development, and documentation of D365 CRM solutions throughout the software development life cycle, including technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Managing technical knowledge repositories and setting standards and policies for document management.
- Leading the review of business requirements with relevant stakeholders and establishing policies and principles for change and release management.
- Training and mentoring team members, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and engaging with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Conducting code reviews and acting as a gatekeeper for changes being deployed to higher environments.
- Supporting production and operational maintenance activities, including managing, and resolving complex production issues and incidents, and providing on-call support as needed.
- Supporting the supervisor in managing and leading small to medium-sized projects and in conducting interviews and onboarding of new employees.
About you
To be successful we are looking for the following:
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining customisations in various D365 CRM modules, such as Customer Services, Sales, Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement, and Customer Insights.
- Experienced in CRM administration, applying Microsoft patches and undertaking upgrades.
- A tertiary degree in the subject matter or Information Technology is desirable, as well as postgraduate qualifications in business management, information technology, leadership, organisational change, or a similar field.
- Vendor certifications in Microsoft D365 and Power Apps are highly regarded, and ITIL Foundation is desirable.
- Experience in designing and creating solutions using Power Platform (Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Automate Flows, Dataverse) and administering D365 platform.
- Demonstrated experience in interfacing D365 solutions using native connectors with other solutions / to various integration platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in using CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, GitHub / similar tool sets.
- Ability to program in various programming languages including – C# /.Net / Java based technologies / Python / JavaScript.
- Experience in using source control tools such as Azure Repos, GitHub, Bit Bucket.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project or similar products.
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, XP), and Waterfall delivery models.
- Experience working in Azure DevOps / Jira.
