The Opportunity:
Urbis has an opportunity for a Power Platform Developer to join our expanding Technology & Digital team in Melbourne or Sydney!
At Urbis, our clients value a strong evidence-based approach. In this role you will play a key part in shaping cities and communities for a better future by helping build and manage data solutions that provide valuable data insights for our internal and external customers.
As a Power Platform Developer at Urbis, your role will be pivotal in creating and supporting applications and automations that drive business efficiencies. By collaborating with internal stakeholders, you'll deliver applications and automations that meet specifications.
Guided by agile development principles, you'll engage in an interactive process to ensure customised outcomes, ultimately enhancing business efficiency.
You will:
- Develop software in the frontend/backend in the Power Platform space
- Develop automation utilising Power Automate and Azure Automation
- Create and maintain data sources in an Azure data Lakehouse utilising medallion architecture
- Create and maintain API integrations using highly secure authentication such as OAUTH2
- Perform SQL queries and writing SQL stored procedures
- Provide internal application support to the business, including other applications and automations, as required.
- Support, maintenance and data updates to databases, including but not limited to SQL Server, Microsoft Dataverse and Microsoft Azure
About you:
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role in application and automation development and support
- Hold a Tertiary qualification in computer science
- Demonstrate a proficient understanding and application of all areas of Power Platform
- Strong understanding of Azure and its components, especially EntraID, Azure Automation, Azure functions, Azure storage and Azure Key vault
- Ability to accurately manipulate various data sources within Microsoft Excel
- Hold competent software development skills using a variety of tools such as SQL, .NET, ASP, and Angular JS/JavaScript
