Pr Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

This well-known and innovative agency is looking to add the next addition to their Melbourne team. You’ll work hand in hand with specialists across PR, design, digital marketing and events to generate campaigns for corporate brands in Australia.
What you’ll be doing

• Create and develop strategic PR ideas across a portfolio of corporate, technology and for-purpose/NFP clients
• Strategize and generate high-quality media coverage and stories (including but not limited to: media releases, speeches, briefings, key messages and pitches)
• Partner with internal teams across creatives, socials, strategy to deliver integrated communications projects
• Develop and facilitate external communications activities to support business objectives of clients
• Plan and oversee the production of events including strategy, research, guest lists and attendance
• Maintain and create a positive partnership with clients as a main point of contact, as well as relevant stakeholders (media contacts, influencers and ambassadors, agency partners)

About you!

• Ideally you have demonstrated experience across leadership and mentoring, you’re currently in an AM or SAM role, OR you’ve done your time as a Senior Account Executive and ready to take the step up
• Strategic mindset with hands on capabilities across executing public relations, media and communications (digital and traditional)
• Knowledge and experience across the media landscape with established relationships with industry contacts and influencers
• Strong pitching skills with media and journalists
• You’re a people person – customer service comes naturally, you know how to manage clients and ensure maximum satisfaction and long term retention
• You know agency world and you have experience across a corporate portfolio
