AddressThe requirement for this role has two areas/functions which you'll be responsible for which is the Practice Management and Finance Aspects of the firm. The role is responsible for the overall running of the firm, and you'll be directly responsible for the Accounts Officer/s, Outside Clerk/s, and Receptionist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Practice Management consists of:
- Secretarial allocations and management
- Managing the company website
- Marketing – Sponsorships
- HR recruitment, inductions and exits, management of personnel files
- Leave management
- Performance review meetings
- Premise management
- Monthly Lawyer, Administration, HR, and IT meetings
- Monthly operational and financial reporting
- Library management
- Organising staff functions
- IT management
- CPD management and compliance
- Quality Practice Assurance compliance
- QPS audits
- QA provider management and LPB compliance
- Staff training
- Maintenance of all company policies, procedures, and position manuals
- Management of all company and fee earners memberships and subscriptions
- Setting fee earners and operational annual budgets
- Trust accounting
- Annual Trust and accounting audits
- Overseeing Property Settlements accounting
- Reconciling
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Payroll
- Lodging BAS and monthly PAYG
- Payroll Tax
- Month End reports
- All insurances
- Supervising all aspects of the Accounts Officers role
What we are looking for:
- Extensive experience in Practice Management;
- Extensive experience in financial aspects such as setting budgets; reconciling, AP & AR, Payroll, lodging BAS and monthly PAYG, Payroll Tax;
- Experience in HR Recruitment, inductions and exits;
- Experience in monthly operational and financial reporting.
