New Practice Manager Position
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our ENT Specialist practice. The successful candidate will ensure efficient service delivery and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
This position is on a part time basis, 3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities:
- The Practice Manager is the direct report for all staff within the practice and is the conduit for decision making and communication directly with the practice principals
- Manage day-to-day operations, including staff rostering, workload prioritisation, and facility management including supply ordering and direct contact for IT consultants
- Co-ordinate and delegate work to reception as required
- Provide support to reception and secretaries as required, particularly during times when staff are on leave
- Ensure compliance with all practice policies
- Supervise all staff, conduct performance evaluations, and manage recruitment and training. Oversee and approve all planned leave requests and staff rosters
- Manage the payroll and liase directly with the practice accountant as required
- Provide general support and backup to reception and secretaries as needed.
- Integral role in growing a strong workplace culture within the practice
- Ongoing review of the practice and identity areas of improvement and implement appropriate change as approved by the practice principals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in a medical practice or healthcare facility.
- Diploma of Practice Management or Degree in Business Administration preferred.

Knowledge
- Understanding of surgical booking and billing procedures highly regarded
- Experience with Practice Software “Genie” highly desirable or other specialist practice management software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Basic knowledge of accounting software desirable but not essential
