PRACTICE MANAGER (General Practice)
Full-time \ 5 days
Hours negotiable but early start preferred.
To manage one of two busy accredited medical centres in Robina
Great location in shopping centre with undercover parking
Privately owned with a friendly team who all get along.
We have a mix of contracted GPs and registrars. There are 16 GPs and 4 Allied Health (varying numbers on each day) at this particular practice.
PM support from manager at other practice (1km away)
Skills we’re looking for:
• Must have previous GP practice management experience
• Experience in Best Practice is a requirement, experience in Automed is a bonus
• Limited financial work required
• A positive calm demeanour with a helpful outlook is necessary
• An understanding of HR and providing leadership without micro managing.
• A focus on documentation: creating agenda’s for Dr meetings, creating and maintaining policies, updating help sheets, checklists and instructions for staff.
• Experience dealing with new software and a decent understanding of computers\printers
• Great communication with staff, patients and outside parties.
• Accreditation assistance (last one was Sep 23)
• Dr training, Reception training, support for all levels of staff, answering questions, dealing with incoming information and monitoring work being done.
• This is a progressive practice so dealing with change is a must.
• A decent understanding of Medicare eligibility and billing requirements.
