We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join this newly formed ENT Surgical Practice on a full-time basis. The position will suit a medical Practice Manager or highly skilled medical administrator. This is a single surgeon ENT practice located in Toowoomba aiming to provide high quality care throughout all facets of Ear, Nose and Throat surgery to a geographically vast referral base. The rest of the team will include a practice nurse and administration staff.
The successful candidate will require excellent customer service skills and will need to be capable of managing schedules and staffing.

Role responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operations of the clinic independently
- Recruit, train, and supervise new administrative employees
- Liase with private hospitals regarding lists and equipment required for theatre
- Manage IT systems
- Address patient complaints in a compassionate and timely fashion
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage the clinic schedule
- Handle billing, insurance claims, and financial transactions (knowledge of Medicare and Xero is a bonus)
- Maintain patient records (Xestro experience is a bonus) and ensure confidentiality is strictly maintained
- Implement and monitor office policies and procedures
- Support marketing and community outreach efforts
- Liase with local medical, dental and allied health practices for education and marketing purposes
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment
- Set performance-based targets and incentives for the team
What we are looking for:
- Experience in practice management or similar administrative roles
- Leadership ability
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Excellent organisational skills and able to multitask and adapt
- Some knowledge of medical billing and medical software
- Ability to autonomously run day to day operations of clinic
- Good communication skills
