Our Client is a leading group of independent optometry practices dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services to our community. They are seeking a driven and experienced Practice Manager to join their team. As a Practice Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service, maximising sales, and managing inventory effectively. As the chief point of contact, senior management will rely upon you to coach, counsel and direct your team in the achievement of practice objectives and the building of the profile and reputation of the practice within the community. Hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm with the occasional Saturday 9:00am to 12:00pm to cover staff leave.

- Perform all lifestyle dispensing duties to the highest standard.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Analyse and resolve quality & customer service problems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment and communicate training and development needs of practice staff to senior management.
- Proven experience in optometry practice management, or at least 3 years dispensing experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised and able to prioritise effectively.
- Growth mindset and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel and Sunix
