Elizabeth Family Health Care is seeking a well-seasoned Practice Manager to join our wonderful General Practice on a fixed-term 6-month contract based in the Northern suburbs of Adelaide. Established in 2010, we were a family-owned group, proud of our excellent reputation as a team who genuinely cares about our patients, practising high-quality care based on the best evidence.
About The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to lead our Elizabeth Family Health Care Clinic for 6 months with the possibility of extension, and support the team while managing the growth of the clinic and the services we provide. The Practice Manager is the first point of contact for all clinical and non-clinical staff and is responsible for the daily operations of the clinic which include;
- Management of reception staff and Nursing staff
- Support for Doctors,
- Rostering through our Payroll platform;
- Refining policies and procedures;
- Practice accreditation;
- Liaison with community and external parties;
- Business development, and;
- General administration including reception.
What you will bring:
Whilst you may not know everything about general practice, you will be willing to learn and grow into the Practice Manager role. Previous experience in a medical reception role will provide you with a solid foundation and enable you to perform all aspects of the Practice Manager position. Exposure to Best Practice software will be highly regarded but not essential.
The Practice Manager is expected to engage with the wider Better Medical group network of practices by attending key meetings, sharing knowledge, and implementing business objectives as directed. The Practice Manager will make key decisions to ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources, supported by and reporting to the Operations Manager.
