Role Description:
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Division 1 Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Practice Nurse within our practice, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assisting GPs with Chronic Disease Management, including CDM preparation.
- Performing immunisations.
- Health assessments across all age groups.
- Assisting with minor procedures.
- Performing ECG’s
- Venesection
- Administering and monitoring iron infusions.
- Wound management.
- Stock maintenance and ordering.
- Cold chain supervision
You will be supported by our practice staff, which includes our lead Practice nurse, experienced GP’s, Practice Manager, and reception staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- 1 year post graduate experience.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Pleasant and professional manner.
- Efficient time management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in a primary care setting.
- Knowledge of Best Practice software.
- Accredited Nurse Immuniser.
- Wound management experience.
- Cold chain management experience.
- Pap smear accreditation.
