AddressNorth East Family Medicine is a General Practice Clinic in Wangaratta, committed to providing patients with the highest quality medical care. We are seeking a Practice Nurse to join our nursing team.
To be successful in this role you will be a positive professional and an effective team player who brings excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. If you are motivated to deliver excellent medical care, confident using IT and have a patient-centered, holistic approach, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities include, but not be limited to:
- Knowledge of Care Plans and Health Assessments
- Immunisations and assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
- Wound management
- Infection Control
- Recalls and Results follow up
- Cold Chain management
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Nursing (BN, BSc Nursing)
- Post-Graduate Qualifications or experience in Chronic Disease advantageous
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Proven prior experience in General Practice or an acute setting
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively in a busy environment
- Team-focused mindset and positive attitude
- Current working with children and police check
- A passion for people and a personable approach
