Merthyr 7 Day Medical Centre is a The practice was established in 1995 and prides itself on continuity of care and a family atmosphere.
We are looking for a motivated and engaged RN to join our dedicated and friendly team.
The Role
Includes such tasks:
- Assist with patient triage and undertake preliminary diagnostic and first response care
- Clinical duties including assisting with procedures, immunisations, wound management, ECG’s and collection of pathology samples
- Chronic disease management including the development of Care Plans, Health Assessments and Comprehensive Medical Assessments
- Preventative health activities including patient education and outreach
- Maintenance of clinical equipment. Stock maintenance and ordering

You will need
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to provide quality patient care to patients from a range of backgrounds and age demographics
- Proven ability to be a positive, independent and collegial member of the team
- Experience working within a General Practice or Hospital setting and/or an interest in developing comprehensive knowledge of General Practice nursing
- Experience doing Health Assessments and Medicals is desirable but not essential
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads
- Current AHPRA Registration
