Full time or Part Time position located in Windsor.
GP Practice Nurse
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work within our busy, dynamic, family orientated General Practice in Windsor.
Previous experience working within the General Practice sector is desirable but not essential as training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Current duties would include, but are not limited to:
- Triaging of pts, both over the phone and in person
- Childhood immunisation and childhood developmental checks
- Other vaccinations, including COVID vaccination clinics
- Preparation of GPMP’s and EPC’s
- Wound care
- General day to day work within the treatment room, including restocking and ordering of consumables
- Sterilisation of instruments
- Audiology
- Spirometry
- Drug and Alcohol testing
The successful candidate will have good time management and communication skills. They will be required to work within a busy environment, providing exceptional nursing care and will be expected to form good working relationships with the Doctors and Allied Health teams, the administration team, the nursing team and patients of the practice.
Essential criteria:
- Current RN AHPRA registration
- COVID Vaccinated
- Current Police Check
- Professional presentation
- Sound knowledge and skills in the use of computers e.g. Best Practice
- Sound understanding of Infection control principles and quality control
