Form of workWorking as part of a dynamic team, this role is pivotal to the commercial print and production workflow.
About the role….
- you will receive instructions from our Commercial Project Managers/Sales or Art Room Manager in relation to new print jobs and liaise both internally and externally to resolve issues and clarify customer requirements
- ensure any supplied art meets our required resolution and size specifications
- prepare proofs (including superimposed images when required) and re-proof where required in liaison with Commercial Project Managers/Sales and with the client where required
- on occasion, undertake creative design for customised work or create from pre-existing templates
- prepare print ready files including image manipulation, file formatting and checking print medium
- send artwork to production
- maintain an image library
- create Photoshop ‘mock ups’ for clients as required
About you….
- minimum 12 months in a similar role
- experience with large format files is highly desirable as is experience within the signage industry
- excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- great attention to detail
- computer literacy and up to date knowledge of industry software including: - Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Professional
- creative flair
- you are enthusiastic with a strong willingness to learn with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
