Reporting directly to the RTO Manager, the Pre-Trade Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing our Pre-Trade Trainers and ensuring the seamless delivery of Training and Assessment services to our valued internal and external apprentices. As a Pre-Trade Supervisor, you'll lead and guide our Pre-Trade Training Team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

The role will include overseeing training, assessment, and reporting functions, maintaining top-notch customer service for internal and external clients, and ensuring compliance with RTO Standards and regulations.

Location: WesTrac Training Institute, South Guildford WA

Roster: Monday - Friday 8hrs

To be successful the following is required:

• Trade qualification in the areas or Mobile Plant Technology and or Automotive Electrical Technology coupled with post qualification experience
• TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or TAE40110, coupled with TAEASS502 and TAELLN411
• Leadership/people management experience with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate teams
• Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to maintain successful relationships
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), including negotiation and facilitation skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of Registered Training Organisation Management and National VET Framework
• Leadership experience in a training or workplace environment
• Previous exposure working within an RTO/Training environment
• Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment and manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
• Ability to problem solve
