About the Centre: A vibrant and nurturing early childhood centre located in the heart of Randwick NSW. They are committed to providing a supportive and stimulating learning environment for young children.
Position: Childcare Educator (Early Childhood Teacher)
Location: Randwick, Sydney
Type: Full-Time
Offering:
$40-$45 per hour

Responsibilities: As a Preschool Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment for our young learners. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages children to explore and discover.
  • Monitoring and recording each child's progress, development, and milestones, communicating regularly with parents or guardians.
  • Collaborating with a team of educators to design engaging activities, ensuring children's individual needs and interests are met.
  • Promoting health and safety practices within the preschool environment.
  • Building strong partnerships with families and fostering a sense of community within the daycare
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • Diploma in early childhood education and care
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
