Prestart Manager – Residential

We are offering an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and self-directed person, with high level contracts and people management experience, to join our residential contracts and prestart team as a Contracts and Prestart Manager.

Your role will include:

• Leading, mentoring, supporting, and assisting team members within Contracts and Prestart Department to successfully deliver team and department outcomes including: 
  • Preparation and completion of contractual documentation including HIA Contracts, Price Coverages and Variations
  • Preparation and lodgement of planning and building Applications
  • Completion of prestart process, ensuring the client experience is to the highest standard
  • Supporting and assisting Client Liaisons through construction process to deliver high level of customer service.
• Managing the quality, and timeliness of work produced by the Department.
• Assessing and prioritising workflow to ensure required time frames are met
• Reporting on department outcomes to senior management
• Liaising with stakeholders, including Salespersons, Draftspersons, Estimators, Shire, Engineers, Financial Institutions, to facilitate the timely progress of the job
• Working with stakeholders to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
• Managing and reviewing employee performance

To be successful in this role you will have:

• At least five years of leadership and management experience in the residential pre-construction sphere
• Excellent contracts and construction knowledge 
• Post-secondary qualifications relevant to construction administration 
• Excellent leadership, management, communication and problem-solving skills
• Sound computer literacy skills in relevant fields, including MS Office, Outlook, Project Management Software and DocuSign 
• Ability to prioritise and organise a complex workload
• Capacity and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment 
• High level attention to detail
