What you’ll do
Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pricing Analyst with a strong commercial acumen & business partnering skills - to join our Pricing & Customer Value team, a business partnering function within the Commercial division of Supermarkets.
The purpose of this role is to support the optimisation of pricing opportunities for the Woolworths Supermarkets Division with a strong focus on building continued price trust with our customers and maintaining Woolworths’ competitiveness in the market.
Framing problems, gathering and analysing complex data, developing insights and recommendations to support the Pricing & Better Buying team’s mandate within the business
Inject analytical rigour and innovative thinking into the issues the business faces, and proactively finding and landing opportunities to add value
Scoping, developing and maintaining various solutions for the business, including models, reports and dashboards
Contributing to the knowledge environment within the Pricing & Customer Value team including training team members and business partners in new concepts and solutions
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for an experienced Category, Commercial or Pricing Analyst with additional skills in stakeholder management, problem solving, and influencing outcomes.
Build strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a pricing, commercial or strategy role, ideally within an FMCG environment
Ability to develop actionable insights and recommendations through complex analyses of large data sets
Advanced MS Excel / Google Sheets and MS Powerpoint / Google Slides skills
