We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Pricing Analyst to join a market leading listed business delivering consistent double digit growth and offering excellent career progression. This role will be responsible for driving price optimisation and utilisation to ensure profitability is maximised across the business. As such you will need to work closely with a variety of commercial stakeholders providing insights to aid better pricing and product decisions by translating data into easily understandable commercial analysis.
Key attributes of a successful candidate will be an inquisitive mindset and a level of comfort with ambiguity, unfamiliar tasks, and shifting priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with stakeholders and influencing relevant stakeholders with appropriate data around the optimised price position to support the overall “go-to-market” strategy.
- Developing analytical insights, such as models and charts, to provide greater pricing visibility and tracking to the business.
- Providing commercial pricing insights and analytics to cross functional business groups.
- Providing support in specifying and developing automated pricing tools using input gained from relevant analysis.
- Incorporate market factors, competitor intel and work within the pricing protocols to generate pricing recommendations.
Key skills required
- 5 + years’ experience in a commercial analytical role with strong pricing exposure
- Experience in a B2C organisation strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills, hands-on and pro-active attitude.
- Experience present commercial analysis to business stakeholders
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Tableau or Power BI is desirable.
