The Division
The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.
The opportunity
Right now, we have a rewarding opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our Revenue Management team on a Permanent Full Time Basis in Chippendale. This exciting opportunity will see you assisting various lines of business to determine and set competitive prices to achieve revenue and margin goals keeping the service demands in mind. Work from home option available.
What you will be involved in:
- Supporting senior members of the team in analysis and developing pricing strategies.
- Undertake analytical and modelling activities for pricing proposals development.
- Preparing and supporting develop accurate financial/pricing models to aid with decision making.
About you
- Tertiary qualified in economic/finance or similar.
- Pricing, research and analysis experience in government sector is desirable.
- Must have strong experience in Microsoft excel, business intelligence software such as Power BI and must be good with numbers.
- Client focused with strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated, have a can-do attitude with a lot of confidence
- You are a collaborator but always looking to how we can do things better
- Able to operate with autonomy in determining day to day work priorities within the context of an agreed work plan
The salary for this position is Grade 7 ($103,965 to $116,441) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
