AddressWe are currently offering a great opportunity for a Pricing Coordinator to join our high-performing team of four in our Australian head office in Docklands.
About the role:
Reporting to the Retail Merchandise Lead, your primary focus will require successful implementation of the national Merchandise Strategy and Retail Pricing executed across the East region (VIC, SA & TAS, QLD & NSW) through clear communications of this direction to all levels. As a team, you will work together to ensure that the Merchandise function achieves its budgeted GM & GP. This includes:
- Data entry: maintenance of pricing ensuring accuracy in the cost and sell prices of inventory lines as directed
- Provide data, reporting and advice to ensure pricing is managed effectively across the 130 branches that make up the region
- Provide advice and support on Key Account Tender pricing
- Maintain minimum & retail pricing for the region
- Notification of price changes giving timely reporting to the region of price information and changes
- Processing a high volume of pricing requests, exemptions, contract amendments, quotes from various stakeholders
- Liaise with different departments such as IT and Data Integrity to ensure accurate pricing
- Provide Customer service function to all internal and external customers for the region
About you:
To be successful you will have a business, commerce or finance related degree or equivalent. You will demonstrate some experience in business intelligence, data insight or strategy. Additionally, you will have:
- Strong administration experience and attention to detail
- Demonstrate a high level of competency in data interpretation to create meaningful and actionable outputs
- Demonstrate commercial thinking and data driven decision making
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence
- Experience in with SAP is favorable
- High level of Excel skills including Power Query and Power Pivot
- Experience with Microsoft Access and Power BI would be desirable
