Your Responsibilities
- Quote Management: Generate and provide accurate quotes to our sales teams and clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and opportunities.
- Pricing Strategy Development: Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to recommend effective pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market share.
- Cost Analysis: Collaborate with internal departments to gather cost data, assess cost structures across trade lanes and ocean/air/land transport, and ensure quotes are aligned with company objectives.
- Customer and Partner Liaison: Serve as a key point of contact for pricing inquiries from clients and partners, offering friendly and professional assistance.
- Reporting and Optimization: Prepare pricing analysis reports for management review and identify opportunities for pricing optimization and increased efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in pricing, finance, or a related role within the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for negotiation and building relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with freight management systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment - a desire to work together with the team to achieve success together.
