St Vincent's is contracted by leading service providers MTC Broad-spectrum to deliver health services to Parklea Correctional Centre - a major Sydney prison with capacity for 1,816 male inmates.

Similarly today, St Vincent's Correctional Health aims to make a major difference by providing multidisciplinary healthcare to inmates at Parklea Correctional Complex.

What we are looking for:
St Vincent's Correctional Health Sydney is seeking highly experienced and motivated Primary Health Care Registered Nurses with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our progressive and supportive team.
Roles and responsibilities:
As a Primary Health Care Registered Nurse (Correctional Health), you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the custodial patient and the community. You will serve as a critical link to identifying the health care needs of the individual patient and promoting health and wellbeing. You will be an experienced nurse responsible for the provision of primary health care, triage and assessment, coordination and delivery of nurse-led clinics, health promotion activities, liaison with the inter-disciplinary team, care planning and reviews, and conducting health assessments. You will respond to the daily needs of the custodial patient population with regard to primary health issues, including monitoring and follow up.
The successful applicant(s) will be expected to work a 7 days rotating roster.
Applicants will be required to obtain a Corrective Service Clearance NSW to be able to take up this role.
