We are currently seeking a full-time Primary Health Organization Manager to join our team in various locations in New South Wales.
As a Primary Health Organisation Manager, you will be required to attend and participate in meetings with CEO and other consultants. This will include participation in CPD activities organized by the employer or as mandated by regulations and utilize this to provide overall direction and management for all the practices at Narooma
Core duties:
Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and coordinating the professional and administrative aspects of health and welfare programs and services.
Providing overall direction and management for the service facility organization or centre.
Developing, implementing and monitoring procedures policies and standards for medical nursing allied health and administrative staff.
Coordinating and administering health and welfare programs and clinical services.
Monitoring and evaluating resources devoted to health welfare recreation housing employment training and other community facilities and centers.
Controlling administrative operations such as budget planning report preparation expenditure on supplies equipment and services.
Liaising with other health and welfare providers and funding bodies to discuss areas of health and welfare service cooperation and coordination.
Advising government bodies about measures to improve health and welfare services and facilities.
Representing the organization in negotiations and at conventions, seminar, public hearings and forums.
Controlling selection training and supervision of staff.
Other administrative and organizational duties as required.
About You
Most importantly, we are looking to appoint an experienced candidate whose value aligns closely with those of the organizations. This role is dynamic and is most suited to someone who has:
Qualifications in Bachelor degree in Health, Commerce, Business Marketing and /or Law essential.
A medical background with thorough understanding of the Primary Health care system
Experience in Best Practice, or similar medical software
Strong attention to detail and administration skills
Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
Ability to adapt situational and effectively manage competing priority
Drivers Licence is essential.
